TERMS AND INFORMATION

  • One block is currently FREE. You can purchase additional blocks for $10 if you want. We reserve the right to decide which free submissions get posted on The Wall.
  • When you get a block on The Wall, you do not own any part of the wall or this site. You pay for the right to submit an image, a description and a link, which will then be published on the site and on The Wall in the respective space you have paid for.
  • You must have the authority to provide the image and link for the website you submit.
    (e.g. Do not submit images copyrighted by others)
  • You retain all the copyright to the image. You grant full rights to me to display your graphic on The Wall online, as well as in its physical representation. You also grant full rights for others to display pictures of The Wall when it contains your graphic (e.g. news organizations).
  • You cannot change the image or link once you have submitted them, so you must be sure of the image & link you want on the homepage.
  • If your image and link are accepted and published on the homepage, you cannot get a refund.
  • When the physical Wall is built in New York City, people on the street will be able to view your graphic in its respective place on The Wall, as it scrolls its contents.
  • I want to make it clear: the physical Wall will only be built after enough blocks are bought, because then I will have the means to build it. Please understand that by believing in the site's potential and buying blocks now, you are contributing to this goal.
  • No obscene/offensive/adult images/links will be accepted. I decide what is appropriate and what is not. If you submit an image or link that is rejected, you will have the opportunity to provide an alternative, otherwise your money will be refunded and you will lose your space.
  • If your link is accepted and you later change the content of the linked site to show offensive/obscene/adult material then your link will be removed until you provide a new one, and you will not get a refund of any kind for the link downtime.
  • Images must be in GIF or JPEG format. Please submit 10x10, 40x40 and 100x100 versions. Preferably, the 40x40 and 100x100 versions should be short animated gifs.

  • If two or more people ask for the same position on the Wall, the person who ordered earliest will have priority. (The others will have to choose a different location.)
  • Links must be to web pages only and begin with http://
  • Once you have paid and the funds have cleared in PayPal, your images will appear on the site. They may take 1 or 2 days to appear on The Wall when it is built.

Okay, that was a lot of rules. To put your stuff on the wall, just do the following:

  • Submit your payment via PayPal:

  • Once you have paid for the pixels, please email submissions@seethewall.com with the following information:
    • 1. Attach your images. See guidelines above for the image size and format.
    • 2. State where you want your graphic to be placed on the homepage (e.g. row 50, column 20). Make sure you are certain, because you can't change it later.
    • 3. State which website you want your graphic to link to (must begin with http://)
    • 4. State what TITLE/ALT text you want for your image, up to 50 characters. TITLE/ALT text appears when people hover the cursor over your image.
    • 5. Please also mention the name you entered in PayPal, so I know which transaction matches your submission.
